Mission satatment
The mission of JHTR is to publish theoretical insights that advance our understanding of heritage and tourism management in micro and macro scope. Submissions to JHTR must extend theory in ways that develop testable knowledge-based claims. To do this, researchers can develop new concept and theory, significantly challenge or clarify existing theory, synthesize recent advances and ideas into fresh, if not entirely new theory, or initiate a search for new theory by identifying and delineating a novel theoretical problem.
JHTR is published semestral in April, and Octobre.
Call for papers
The timeline for submissions is between 1st April and 31st July, 2019. After 31th July, 2019, submissions will not be accepted. In line with JHTR’s guidelines, a submission must advance management and organization theory and/or the theory development process. This includes developing new theory, significantly challenging existing theory, and demonstrating or challenging the importance of theory for management.
Manuscript submission
All submissions must be sent to review to JHTR submission@eucss.eu. Submissions must follow the guidelines for contributors and the JHTR Style guidelines.
Submissions that do not adhere to the style guidelines will be returned to the author(s). Reviews will follow a double-blind process.
